Gorill-5 16G/1.30 String Black is a top-tier co-poly tennis string built for players who want maximum spin, a responsive feel and comfort. It uses String-Kong® proprietary BRE (pentagonal round edge) technology to bite the ball and generate exceptional rotation. Raw Tech adds comfort on every hit.

Gorill-5 is the enhanced successor to our co-poly bestseller, Gorill-1. It is slightly less springy than the Gorill-1, but clearly improved in every other respect. New additives and new working methods deliver better comfort, power and durability. They also give sharper snap-back and a huge amount of spin.

The current Gorill-5 recipe earned more favor from our playtesters during prototyping and testing than any other string we have produced.
