Irukandji 17G/0.90 x 1.45 String Grey

Irukandji 17G/0.90 x 1.45 String Grey is a rounded/rectangular polyester string built for players who want more spin, more snap-back, and a softer, more comfortable feel. It was engineered to be the ideal Cross string.

Its smooth surface lets the mains and crosses slide against each other. This minimizes notching and maximizes snap-back, which increases spin potential. Added elasticity enhances that spin even further. With remarkable feel and comfort, Irukandji bridges the gap between co-poly and multifilament strings.

It performs well in a full bed. It is highly recommended as a Cross string with Multi or Natural Gut in the Mains.

• Diameter: 0.90 x 1.45 mm
• Recommended tension: Normal poly stringing tension when used as a full bed or as a Cross in a hybrid.
• Set size: Individual 12m set

Note: Because of Irukandji's unique shape, it is officially rated at 0.90 x 1.45 mm in diameter, which is comparable to a 17g round string.

Stringing Tips: Irukandji tends to lay against the gut or multi main on its larger, flat side. Don't worry if this doesn't happen every time, or if you see a turn or two during stringing. It will not be a problem.
