Meet the K-Swiss Women's Classic VN Shoes, a California court icon with a fresh, more sustainable update. Since 1966, when Swiss brothers Art and Ernie Brunner moved to Los Angeles to build a tennis-focused footwear brand, K-Swiss has been defined by innovation. Both were avid skiers and tennis players. They drew on the support of leather ski boots to design a shoe for the aggressive side-to-side movements of tennis. The result was the K-Swiss Classic, the first all-leather tennis shoe manufactured in Los Angeles, California.

More than 50 years later, it remains our most recognized and bestselling style, and it has earned iconic status in the sneaker world. The Classic VN is the 4th generation of that original design. It keeps the trademark details: 5 stripes, a D-ring lacing system, 3 piece toe construction and a herringbone brick outsole tread. A new heel tab adds a hint of color, and modern logos reflect the contemporary, progressive values of today's brand.

The Up-spec VN brings the classic into the present with better materials, increased comfort and improved sustainability. The upper uses more premium full-grain leather. Recycled PET linings and laces, internal components made with recycled ocean plastics, and more eco-friendly foam in the sock liner and internal midsole make it a smarter choice for conscious sneaker lovers.
